Common name of this attractive plant is 'mermaid weed'. It is a stem plant that can reach a height of 45 cm but even under high lighting and high level of fertilizers and CO2, this plant will grow rather slow compared to other stem plants. Under water it develops interesting needle-like leaves in a beautiful copper color.
