This is probably one of the most interesting aquarium plants in the world. Utricularia graminifolia belongs to the bladerworth family that is known by carnivorous plants. They developed special bladder traps in order to capture passing microorganisms, which are later digested and used as an additional nitrogen source. The ''graminifolia''refers to the grass-like leaves which create thick and short green carpet that looks like a lawn. Plant likes neutral pH medium and medium light.
