Rotala indica aka. Ammania bonsai belongs to the Loosestrife family known as Indian tooth cup. Because of small, compact leaves it is great for nano aquariums, but this versatile plant can fit in different aquarium styles to achieve dynamic look. Plant it in groups and you will get dense carpet look. It will grow under medium light, but under high light conditions leaves might turn red/orange.
