This amazing plant, known as downoi (“little star”), originates from Thailand and it is relatively new for the aquarium hobby. Due to its unique crinkled curly green leaves, downoi is probably one the most beautiful plants used in the foreground. Higher light rate and nutritious substrate lead to more compact growth and dense foreground carpet. It is also a plant which will happily grow attached on the wood.
